Patient Care Philosophy:

Over the course of my Nurse Practitioner career, I have been fortunate to gain clinical experience treating and caring for patients with a wide range of clinical symptoms and diagnoses such as Anxiety, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Depression, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety, Occupational Stress, Obsessive Compulsion Disorder, Chronic Health Issues and multiple sleep issues including Insomnia, Restless Leg Syndrome and Obstructive Sleep Apnea. By having this diverse experience, it helps me to devise personalized, and comprehensive treatments for my patients.

I strive to help each patient identify their strengths, and help each patient build personal resilience, and self-compassion. Your treatment will be individually tailored to help you create healthier strategies to address your concerns, and better manage stress.

I am a conservative prescriber. I do not believe in prescribing excessive medications, and I do not prescribe medications that are not clinically indicated for a patient. I prescribe and dose medications “slow and low” in order to monitor medication safety and efficacy.

Personal:

When I am not caring for my patients, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my twin sons. I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, listening to podcasts, and traveling.

How do I manage stress? I will take “a time out”. I find it helpful to go for a walk with my dog, exercise, listen to a podcast or watch a funny TV show.
